"What an amazing location to stay in the Speyside area and in Dufftown. My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. Two bottles of whisky with an honour system touched off the whole experience for a couple of nips late in the evening. The rooms...

"Steve and Ginny were welcoming and kind. The “roost was comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. Walkers shortbread was left at our coffee and tea station -yum! Steve suggested the forests walks to the Spey River and we enjoyed that so much. We then drove over the Cairngorm mountain roads to visit the 3 B’s as Steve put it- Balmoral, Braemar and Ballater and followed Steve’s suggestion of dinner at The Puffin (a wonderful day!). I would recommend a stay here to anyone into beautiful countryside, hikes, and castle visits and wonderful hosts!"
