"We had a great week here. The house as everything we needed and more. Lovely play area and lawn for the children to play which was a real bonus. Only 65 mins from Disney and an easy motorway drive, (about 9 Euros peage each way). Dormans itself doesn't have too much to offer for tourists but Epernay and Reims are close by and Paris also possible for day visits. Also there are other chateau not too far away but after many excursions it felt great to return to the house and just chill, and play...

"As this was a new property in VRBO with few ratings, we had to wait to see what the property was like. In short, it was splendid! The accommodation is located in a small village of 300 people. The lodgings were impeccably clean and room sizes were very large - truly a 3-bedroom house with large kitchen, dining room and salon. The beds, always important, had comfortably firm mattresses. "Die Unterkunft war sehr schmutzig und reparaturbedürftig. Der Vermieter hat nach unserer Beschwerde einen Teil in Ordnung gebracht. Allerdings war es weiterhin schmutzig und reparaturbedürftig. Danach wenig Entgegenkommen des Vermieters, die Kommunikation hat er dann abgebrochen und reagiert nicht mehr. Sehr schade, aus der Wohnung könnte man echt viel machen. Leider gab es auch keine Vorinformation über die Reparaturbedürftigkeit der Wohnung. Und Sauberkeit erwarte ich sowieso!"

"A beautiful gite in countryside setting. Very comfortable bed, good oven, microwave, coffee machine but no kettle. Always plenty of hot water, nice shower room. Huge conservatory with seating and dining table. The owners were lovely as was their young boy. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Carmen and Benoit."

"We ( a family of 5) spent one night in Chez Brigette on our way back to the UK after 2 weeks in Provence. We could not have asked for a better night. Brigette was the warmest hostess and it was clear that she had thought of everything. The property was very clean and modern. Our short stay was comfortable and she provided a wonderful breakfast in the morning. I thoroughly recommend staying here."

"We stayed for 3 nights on our way to Venice and it was lovely. Although Pascal didn't speak English we communicated easily enough. There was enough space for me and my 3 kids to relax, and enough kitchen utensils to make some basic meals. The property is actually 1 of 2 that share an entrance which was not made clear on the advert but didn't deter from the peace and quiet."

The shampoo/soap dispenser in the shower cubicle was empty when we arrived, so we had to use our own Also, the lights above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work. This can only be attributed to lack of effort by cleaner/supervisor Everything else was basic, but OK."

"We have stayed before twice and we will stay again. We arrive late at night and the instructions provided in advance allow us to access the apartment. The breakfast is ok. The apparent feels new and is clean. For a family for four this is a perfect stop over. "
