Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts."

Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". La maison est vaste et propre avec de nombreuses chambres. Les équipements intérieurs sont suffisants et adaptés. Le jardin est un poil petit et mériterait quelques équipements...

"We had an amazing stay at Mme Sol’s house over Christmas. Unfortunately car trouble meant we were without transport but we spent the time relaxing, enjoying the full kitchen, comfortable lounge, fireplace, games, table tennis and badminton. The house is beautifully furnished, warm and fully equipped - everything has been thought of. Mme Sol and Mme Louchard checked in to make sure we were OK and provided advice and also bikes so we could travel to the village. We wished we could have stayed...

"The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"The house is just like in the photos, although they don’t really do it justice. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough of everything - from generous size mugs to plates and outdoor chairs. The house was lovely and cool inside, even though it was fairly hot outside. "Ideally situated with just a pleasant 10 minute walk into the town and the chateau. Good access to main roads to visit other chateaux and countryside. Well furnished and decorated flat in a street of old houses. Parking is just around the corner. Francois is a pleasant and helpful host who lives next door to the site and is is on hand to resolve any difficulties or answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay."

"This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. The only thing lacking during the hot weather was a fan, so we decided to buy one at the supermarket, (which we have now also used at our next accommodation) Lino was very welcoming and we would happily stay again."

"Our stay was good and comfortable. We arrived late (just after 9pm) the restaurant was closed so we couldn't order food, only 'tapas' was available, deep fried frozen food which was horrible! Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room."
