"This was our first stay at a ‘chateau’ and it was amazing. The historical mansion filled with antiques was magnificent. The grounds were expansive and were well kept. Hospitality by the family was heartwarming. The rooms were well appointed , spacious and very comfortable. Please know, to get around, one does need a car. Good weekend break.
"Hotel is excellent. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Reception and restaurant staff could not do enough to help with anything we asked for. Food for breakfast and dinner was of a high quality and well presented. The room had a safe and fridge, with a level access shower. Only problem was the control for the heating and air conditioning was faulty and they could not get anyone to look at it during our weekend stay. We would recommend the hotel and would be happy to return. "
