Stayed for one night before catching the ferry, in a double room with an extra bed for our 7 year old son. We had requested secure parking but luckily found a roadside space available, which saved us the cost of the hotel's secure car park (convenient but an additional 14 Euros per night). Staff were very welcoming and we were shown to our room by one of the friendly reception team, which was a nice personal touch. We had a lovely room with tasteful decor, a partial sea view, comfy beds and luxurious ensuite shower room. They had even left two small packs of sweets out next to the coffee-making facilities, which our son thought was brilliant! We all enjoyed the use of the roof level indoor pool, with its massage jets and jacuzzi-type corner, which was very welcome after a long drive. We had an early start the following morning so breakfast wasn't possible for us, but this sounded quite pricey so not sure we would have eaten at the hotel anyway. All in all, a lovely, but far too short-lived, experience!
Really pleased we chose this hotel - good value given its proximity to intra muros and the beach. The parking was invaluable given that we visited in August. The room itself was nicely presented and clean, the staff extremely friendly and helpful

We found the hotel to be excellent. A warm welcome. The hotel is situated close to the walled part of the town. It is a pleasant walk either following the port or walking along the sea front. Parking is public but conveniently in front of the hotel. The breakfast was superb. This means you have a wide range of places to have a meal. We enjoyed a galette at the Creperie du Mole, 3 rue de Dinan and can recommend it highly.

Perfect for a long weekend, staff absolutely so friendly and did not bother us. Rooms cleaned to perfection, great spot with having a balcony and listening to the music in the evening & on check out they allowed us to keep our room until later on - definitely will be back very soon !!!
We spent three nights at the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and unusually for a French hotel we had a mini bar and tea/ coffee making facilities. However there was no milk and only a two sachets of instant coffee were provided each day. The shower room was good but slightly dated. The hotel had a good location right on the promenade and a 20 minute walk to the old town. Le Cap Horn restaurant was excellent as was the beach bar restaurant la Terrace but we found the bar upstairs to lack atmosphere and style.
The swimming pool was heated salt water and was a nice temperature. It was relatively quiet and a decent size. There was a small unisex changing area (some cubicles) beside the pool which was not quite what we were expecting. We also had to find our own towels in a cupboard in the corridor and were treated with disinterest by the pool attendant. When swimming you also have to wear blue and white caps - these are provided in the hotel rooms and it was fortunate that we had brought them down to the pool. We did not use the spa.
When we left we were surprised to have been charged for breakfast as we had booked room only and had not eaten in the mornings. The hotel did, however, refund our money when we pointed this out. I would advise anyone planning a stay to check their bill carefully.

Booked last minute having decided to go away for a few days to france, shame about the rain. Great Modern looking entrance into hotel, booking in was very easy only took seconds. Room was fairly small but comfortable, with a nice bathroom. We had a sea view, with small balcony. Could not be any closer to the sea, as you are looking straight at the beach. Would have been wonderful if not for the constant rain we had. Its about a 15 minute walk to the walled town of St Malo, straight along the sea front and about 25 minutes from the ferry port. which I don't mind.

Two day stay, re-visiting this hotel & the buzz of St Malo
Ideal location for short stay--especially if no car. The hotel is a focus of activity within the walls. All the attractions are just outside the hotel door.and within walking distance.
Access to the hotel by car is difficult (streets are pedestrianised) & there is little or no parking by the hotel.& no free parking between 9.00am-8.00pm
Parking in general is a nightmare in St Malo with NO free daytime parking close to the walls (Nearest free parking to the hotel is 3-400yds away, if lucky) All car parks are extremely busy during peak season.

An overnight stay before the ferry back to the UK. This is the second time we have stayed here and will do again. The room was clean and comfortable with separate bathroom and toilet. It overlooked the garden in the rear section of the hotel which is in two blocks; one front and one rear. There are no tea making facilities but the TV can get BBC channels. A secure underground car park is very useful, at a cost 15 euro, with lifts to all floors. Vehicle access to the car park is at the rear of the hotel and you need to obtain a swipe card at Reception first. Street car parking is possible if you arrive late in the day but during working hours the streets are full since the beech is just across the road. Bar lounge and TV are available near reception, as is the breakfast room. A number of resautrants are just along the street.
