"what a pleasant discovery, where we wanted to stay in Doolin was sold out, opted for The Ritz Hotel a few kilometers away, worth the short drive, pleasant welcoming staff, comfortable clean room, delicious breakfast…plus staff even accommodated us for an early breakfast as we needed to catch the ferry…will stay again"

Lovely lodge in Doolin!

"What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was spacious, very very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, easy to find and helpful instructions for checking in. Breakfast looked delicious, loved the coffee! Gorgeous property with two adorable kitties and a doggie, made me feel right at home. The hosts are delightful and friendly and helpful, I loved my stay at their beautiful lodge! "

"My mom, 89, wanted a place where she and her kids could be together in comfort and see something new. The Stone House was the perfect base from which to explore the west coast of Ireland. The house was creative and cozy and special. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone."

Highly Recommended for families or smaller groups

"I had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The cottage has all you need like home from home. It is located just a few metres from the sea with the Connemara mountains in the distance. Its idea for exploring the rugged coast, the mountains, the fjord and lochs. With many walks to enjoy. There is a nearby pub that serves great food. John and Mairead are super hosts.John keeps a distant but watchful eye and would be there to help should the need arise. I would recommend for families or smaller group. I spent a month there and was sad to leave. Thank you John it was a pleasure to have met you and to stay at your wonderful cottage."
