Pros: Luxery.
Location: Close to M4 for travelling elsewhere. Cardiff nearby for great shopping and Waterside dining. Also, Dr Who experience.

Celebrity Golf

Posted 07-Jul-2014
Pros: Our room balcony was a bonus, the staff were attentive and being set amongst the golf courses make the scenery lovely.
Cons: Dealing with our problems seemed to be an issue. Customers do not normally complain for no reason.
We visited Celtic Manor for the Celebrity Cup and Gala Dinner so the hotel was very busy. We did have a few problems which we thought a 5* hotel could have dealt with better but overall it didnt spoil our stay. The room was a good size, everything was clean and we had a lovely view from our balcony. The bar area is welcoming and the service was good. We ate in the Fine Dining restaurant on Friday evening, we enjoyed the experience, all of our food was of an excellent quality.

Another great stay at Celtic Manor, fabulous staff

Posted 25-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff, facilities and great Golf!
Cons: Might need a bit of redecorating in some aareas
Location: Play golf on the 2010 Ryder Cup course!
Fourth visit to Celtic Manor over the last 5 years, another great experience only marred by housekeeping failing to remove dirty teacup & glasses on day 2. Otherwise the rest of the experience was fantastic. Can't wait to go back

Lovely hotel in peaceful surroundings

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: The way the staff made us feel special
Cons: Can't improve on perfection
Location: Location is convenient off the M4 motorway. Good for golf players.
It was my wife's 50th birthday and the staff looked after us well. We even had a complimentary glass of prosecco. We will certainly be back.

Easy access hotel

Posted 07-Jun-2014
Pros: Elemis products in bathroom. Good size bedroom
Cons: Devore
Location: The event we were at was at the hotel
The hotel was very nice but we did smell sewage on the patio at the bar. Also from the drain in our shower. If you wanted your beds turned down and room refreshed you have to put the note on your door. We didn't know this. We had room 907 and had a view of the dual carriadgeway & rooftop garden. We didn't use the spa nor played golf. We had breakfast in the glass conservatory, nice, light & refreshing.
