Excellent hotel in central Cancun
The only downside to my room was that the door did not muffle noises from the hallways. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent choice. The building was maintained well. My room was comfortable and well lit. The AC worked great and looked new. Hotel is in a great location close and easily walkable to ATMs, restaurants, cafes, the bus station, and shopping. I would book the hotel again should I stay in Cancun.

The good Very close to downtown. Access to plazas and various restaurants. Other hotels. Walking distance to easy pick up location for full day trips by bus AC worked very well in the room. Hot water always. Reasonable price. Easy access to super market with fresh baked goods The bad Internet dropping all the time. Room faced the front and the street is noisy due to traffic. No AC and minimal fan in the lobby. Staff didn’t speak much English so didn’t ask for assistance. Toilet seat kept dropping, toilet clogged. Due to location, great AC gave 4 stars. If noise bothers you not ideal

Great for the price. Good location with shopping and groceries around staff at the front desk were helpful. Funny thing, when we asked for two more towels they brought one and said another one maybe tomorrow.

Nice small property on Tulum Ave downtown Cancun. Friendly staff and great service. Only thing was this trip the bar service and lobby bar restaurant were closed due to staffing issues. Understandable but the area close doesn’t have the quality and service as the hotel.

We loved Hotel Antillano ❤
Hotel Antillano is very good for us. We were super happy here! It is very close to Busses, Chadauri Supermarket, Parque Palyapa with cheap food and entertainment and close to our Dentist. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. Perfect for us on a tight budget. We can not afford the $50USD+ per night rooms CONS Not enough clothes hangers, no electric jug for coffee/tea, no fridge in the room.

Had a great time at this Hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful, location is great - super close to bus station, supermarket, and local downtown. If you're looking to stay somewhere out of the hotel zone - we recommend!!!

Well, I love this place and always stay there. However, on both of my past two visits I have experienced smoke smell in my room on several occasions throughout my stay. I understand that you cannot police every guest but your employees must be diligent as you could clearly smell the smoke in corridors too. Again, this is my hotel of choice and I remain a loyal customer and will return!

I’ve stayed here multiple times within the last few years. The place is walking distance about 10 minutes to the central bus station. Also, there are many little shops and cheap restaurants nearby, all with in walking distance. The hotel is old but well kept. Rooms have good air conditioning and hot walk with good shower pressure. The only complaint I had this last time I stayed there was the top bedding looked dirty with milky white substance(I will let your imagination figure out what it might have been). I removed the top bedding and slept in with only sheets. The sheets looked clean.

The chain latch in the room is designed so that if they want they can open it from outside the room. I have pictures. I was in my room asleep and somebody entered my room and removed the money from my wallet. I recommend nobody stay at a hotel that uses a metal key because there’s no way of knowing who comes in your room. Only stay at a hotel that uses a credit card to enter the room

I really love this property and the staff. On this trip I was not happy as I was awoken two different times by the smell of someone smoking or smoke in the A/C system. I smelled in the corridor a few days and reported and even brought the housekeeper into my room to smell the overpowering smell. They assured me the guest had left and the second occasion was the following weekend and I was actually leaving that Saturday morning. I would think the security officer would smell...if he was doing floor patrol? Again, I love this hotel and will not curtail my visits as I’ve been there over 30 nights so far this year.
