We were given permission to use the car park hours before check in - which after a five hour drive & before climbing Snowdon was much appreciated! We would love to return one day! "This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive. Overall a lovely quiet and peaceful place to stay but close to local attractions and amenities if you want to travel to them ."
