Small rooms

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Pros: I liked the fact that the hotal was very close to the highway. It was very easy for me to hit the road.
Cons: everything. Brighter lighting fixers must more comfortable rooms
Location: There was a mall close by and few stores in the area
My experience was a disappointing one. The hotel was very dark and rooms were very small. I would not recommend to any one of my friends.

Not impressed

Posted 04-Sep-2014
Pros: This hotel was very convenient to shopping and resaurants.
Cons: The room we stayed in was not clean at all, it was in fact gross. The carpet against the walls looked as though they have never been vacuumed or clean
When we arrived in our room we found a large amount of black hair on one of the comforters, we also found a large amount on the carpet. Which led us to believe the bedding was changed while the comforter was placed on the dirty carpet, then the dirty comforter was put on the bed. Gross! It was our first stay here, we were very disappointed. It seemed like a nice hotel with potential, but really run down and dirty. Easy fixes.

Check your bags

This hotel is old, outdated and dirty. There was mold in the ceiling, the carpet was moist, the walls were dirty, the air did not work and there were gnats in the room. It was more like a motel instead of a "full-service" hotel. I have stayed in the past in a Superior room so I was excited to return this year after being told there was not much of a difference in the rooms. After staying in a standard room for 197.00 for one night and 117. 00 another night. It has been confirmed that my family and I will NEVER return. I thought I would see a bedbug at any given time. The staff was nice though...not accommodating, but pleasant !

My Experience at Millennium Hotel Buffalo Airport

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Proximity to areas of attraction we were vacationing to visit in Buffalo, NY.
Cons: Front desk service, room service, and quality of room.
Location: There was a shopping mall close by the hotel and most area attractions were within 10 - 20 minute drive from the hotel.
The experience was horrible given the type of service and room quality I've come to expect from a 3 star rated hotel. My service and experience was more like a 2 star hotel.

Millennium hotel

Posted 30-Aug-2014
Pros: Only the location
Cons: Housekeeping on all levels.(in rooms) Lobby, and pool area seem fine.
Location: Walden galleria for shopping
Our first room was adjoining to another room. After a fairly long drive and border issues we just wanted to relax in our room. All we could hear was whatever was going on next door. Not the guests fault, doors just paper thin. As reviewed carpets stained etc but I can overlook that at the price. We requested a room change so were put on the 4th floor. Room was quiet as not an adjoining one. Carpets same condition. Beds only had 2 pillows each where our first room had 5 each bed. Again, I can overlook that. In morning when I started the shower, the tub quickly filled and would not drain. I am NOT about to fish out someone else's hair. Very disappointed. Safe to assume that our second visit to this hotel is definitely our last.

good location

I have stayed here several times and really only had one semi bad experience. I am surprised it doesn't get better reviews than it does.

OK for not planning on staying in a hotel

Posted 23-Aug-2014
Pros: The location to the airport. If you like to shop the big mall is right there. The rate was good.
Cons: See above. Everything. Dingy feel, bathroom is terribly in need of updgrades. Find sheets that fit the beds and blankets that aren't worn out.
Location: The Walden Galleria mall is a parking lot walk away. Cabello's across the street. Sits at intersection of major interstate. Not a pretty area.
Arrived in Buffalo to move my son into an apartment that turned out to be a disaster. Left us homeless, needing a place to stay for a couple of days. Not much available in the area due to college move in. We were grateful the Millennium had a room available for a decent rate. It is clearly an old hotel. Rough around the edges. There was a glass sitting on the floor outside our room that had not been picked up yet by room service. Room faced out onto the parking lot, ground floor. It seemed clean, but the bathroom is in need of updating. Door kept getting stuck (had to use two hands to pull it open) and clearly had water damage. Faucets in sink need adjusting, hot water would fade out. Sink cracked. The shower/bath faucet was sticky to touch and needs updating. Clean up the old/moldy grout. Only give one wash cloth and three towels. Strange, if 4 people can fit in the room. Could smell cigarette smoke but couldn't find where it was coming from. Sheets didn't fit mattress; not sure mattress fit box spring. Bedspreads were on haphazardly and looked way too big. Blankets were worn in places, almost holes; stain on one, wasn't sure if it was blood or nail polish. I've been in worse, but wouldn't come back. The air conditioner blows very cold air. Couldn't get it to blow warmer air, even after turning it up to 80, so just turned it off. Cool enough outside not to need it much. I've stayed in worse, but most likely wouldn't stay there again or any other Millenni
