Pros: Lovely frontage, great location.
Cons: The hotel rooms are looking a little "tired", cracked sink, cracked tile in the bathroom, curtains off the hook and not working. Breakfast expensive.
Location: We went on the boat trip opposite, great fun and then dined at the Olive Tree, excellent dinner, lovely staff but very busy so book in advance.
Went with three generations, all enjoyed our stay, the hotel is lovely and quiet and in a great location.

Excellent location, quality service.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Perfect location for exploring all of Bruges. The main square is less than five minutes away, as are the best museums and sights.
Could easily be a five star hotel. Service immaculate, room was beautiful, location brilliant, price very reasonable. It's easy to see why they have such a famous clientele. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a very pleasant hotel in the centre of town, close to all attractions. The communal areas of the hotel were immaculately presented, with fabulous furnishings. The staff were professional, amenable and offered assistance as necessary. The only negative point was the fact that our room was actually in a small annexe, positioned behind the car park at the rear of the hotel. Although the room in itself was clean and spacious, the entrance to the building was extremely shabby, dirty and in urgent need of redecoration. Therefore, not in keeping with the standard of the rest of the hotel.

Boutique Hotel near the heart of Bruges

Posted 11-May-2015
Cons: There was a stink in the bathroom and the sink drained very slowly
Location: Restaurants and historical sights abound! The landing for a great canal cruise is right out the front door.
Especially for the price, you couldn't ask for a lovelier getaway home. The room was spacious, high ceilings, and very comfortable. The staff was more than happy to help with restaurant and sight suggestions. We felt very welcomed and would strongly recommend this hotel to friends.

centre ville, personnel agréable

Idéalement situé au cœur du vieu Bruges. Le personnel est souriant et très agréable. Côté chambre : rien a dire, tout est nickel et bien entretenu.

Gorgeous hotel

The hotel is gogeous. The facade of the building is not flashy, but once you step into the lobby, you will know you are in treat. They pay attention to details to make sure that the rooms and common areas are pleasant and welcoming. There is an upscale feel throughout, yet special, not in a big name hotel way. The room we were assigned to wasn't the biggest, but it was lovely. There was a sofa with a warm throw. The bed was lofty. There was a coffee/tea making setup in the room, which made us feel at home after a day's exploration in town. When we found out that the Belgian railway went on strike on our traveling day, the staff took time to book us another hotel room for the night. I wish I spent more time at this hotel to enjoy other delightful factors... Instead, we kept busy eating chocolate all day long out on the streets (which was fun). Next time, we will know better.

Lovely hotel in perfect position on the canal and only 5 min walk to main square.
