"We absolutely loved staying in the Captain's Cabin. Bourton on the Water is in a great location for day trips, but we had to pull ourselves away from this adorable and bustling little village. Location of the Captain's Cabin is quiet and peaceful, but just a two minute walk to all that Bourton on the Water has to offer! We loved ending our days cuddling up by the fire and had the best sleep in the charming and comfortable bedroom. "

"This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

"Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more...

Good quality bedding and towels. Chipping Norton has everything needed for a short stay-shops, good pubs (particularly the Blue Boar), a lido in summer and little cinema. Visited the Cotswolds Wildlife park but queue was far too long To get in so went to Batsford Arboretum instead which was perfect for a long dog walk. Also...

"Our place was absolutely adorable! We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and we made dinner each night at our place. I loved the cook top because the food cooked beautifully. Never seen one of those ranges before. The neighborhood was so peaceful. What a way to start off our vacation! The host stopped by to meet us. We had no trouble with our quaint cottage!"
