"Very nice property with a pretty little sitting area to watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, neat and well equipped kitchen. Check in and communication with Matt was very easy. Nice parking spot just outside the pretty garden. Would recommend highly. It’s a great location for exploring the northern lakes district and easy to get to Keswick. Very quiet and peaceful location. A nice touch was a bouquet of fresh roses upon our arrival."

"The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags."

"What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! Clean, comfortable and warm with excellent wifi connection. Thank you to the friendly hosts Colin and Lesley who were to hand if anything was needed but who were not intrusive or interferring at all. "This is a really lovely and immaculately maintained property, and one that provides and excellent base for exploring the Lake District. It is very well equipped and comfortable, and also nice and quiet - just the tonic if on a break. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing and also exploring the local area, which was new to us. "This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest. Will absolutely stay again."

"We all enjoyed staying in the property. It had plenty room and did not feel over crowded with 8 of us staying there. The water pressure for the showers was very good. Plenty plates/cutlery etc in the kitchen. Small point was that the oven took a very long time to cook anything but otherwise all good. We would come back."

"The cottage and location were lovely. The private parking space was too small and very awkward to access. There was plenty of unrestricted parking in the road. The property was not adequately prepared between bookings. The cleaning did not deal with the overpowering smell of curry powder that lasted till we left."
