Would definitely visit again

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Bath Spa city centre only 15-20mins walk away (brisk pace)
Location: An eclectic mix of old and new retail and boutiques, yet in keeping with traditional architecture alongside the well maintained Roman Baths and Abbey.
Excellent experience, 5* at its best. Attentive, friendly and considerate staff, set in beautiful grounds, very clean and comfortable room (on of the Imperial Suites), high quality food and very good spa facilities.

Pros: Guests seemed to be genuinly welcomed as friends and treated as being special. the hotel had style, comfort, delicious food and splendid luxury.
Cons: Keep it how it is, well done to all the staff.
Location: I only came to relax, the walk to the city through the park was very pleasent.
Staying at the hotel was something special, from the time you set foot into the foyer and checked in you felt very special the staff were so accommodating and helpful

Brilliant experience

Posted 10-Aug-2014
Pros: Rooms and Spa were lovely.Restaurant was beautiful. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Cons: There was building work going on - but you saw it on the way in - but it wasnt apparent when you were in hotel.
Location: Near to everything - a short walk, but lovely surroundings.
Lovely hotel, all excellent. Close to the town - up the hill, but great views. We only had breakfast - but all fine. Staff were really lovely - friendly and not false with it - a refreshing change. I accidently left my phone charger - they posted it to me that day I received it the next day - excellent service.

Ideal for dirty weekend in Bath

Posted 09-Aug-2014
The hotel and staff difficult to fault, within 10 minutes walk to pultney bridge. However £19 for breakfast is plain daft. And the £5 charge to the customer to park the car is also unnecessary given the prices they charge per night.
