"This is a lovely well appointed cottage, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. It is clearly a period property with low ceilings in most rooms, narrow stairs and a beam in the floor of the main bedroom. All of this adds to its charm but would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. "Each time we stay at Rosemead is like arriving home, Julie & Alistair are so welcoming and are amazing hosts! The lodge is beautifully designed and perfectly set up for guest stays in the most idyllic spot in the garden, with so many special touches included like wine, homemade jam, fresh milk, bread and freshly laid eggs from their hens! "Only spent a couple of nights here but could definitely have stayed longer. Cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The owners are really helpful and none intrusive. Complimentary wine and fresh bread are a lovely touch.(bread definitely a winner) Property is very handy for Ely and Cambridge. Use the park and ride for Cambridge. It's good value and cheaper than parking in the centre."

"This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"The cottage was everything I would expect in a historical English cottage with vibrant walled gardens and cozy accommodations. (The living room furniture could have been more comfortable). It was a perfect location to visit the many small towns, parks, cathedrals and castles.
