The room was shabby, but not obviously dirty although the bin hadn’t been emptied and I even found a previous guest’s dirty plates in a drawer. There was a microwave and fridge, but no kettle, cups or anything - although I later (next morning) learned that a fully equipped kitchen was available. "A bargain stay in Blackpool for a sporting fixture in the middle of Wintwr. A warm room courtesy of an electric heater and extra bedding. Very helpful and friendly owners. A good breakfast all you need. A great position near a tram stop. Blackpool Hotels mainly shut for the winter, in a competitive market like many places could do with some updating. I would return."

"After going through the front gate that should have locked I came by a dumpster full of stinking garbage. The small courtyard was filthy. The stairs going up to the rooms needed a good cleaning and refurbishing. After opening the door to the room I was surprised how small it was, 8’x8’? The shared bathroom, toilet paperless, was dingy and poorly lit. Some photoshop trickery must have been used for the pics of the place. "It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. "
