“convenient for the CCIB Forum”

I have been there for a business trip, i didn't eat at the hotel so i can't say about it. The hotel is not close to the city centre but i needed to be near the CCIB forum and for that is was fine, 10-15 min walking distance. Clean, good size room and good service and free internet. Overall i am very happy with it.

“great holiday experience”

i found the hotel service very satisfactory in all aspects. the staff were very helpfull on providing information on how to get around, helping with questions and anything we needed to feel comfortable in the hotel. the maid service was also excellent, we were able to come back every day to a sparkling clean room and bathroom with fresh towels, linnen and everything neat and orderly. for western european ppl the hotel rooms might look more 3* but it had everything you need and bathroom and room seemed brand new. just the mini bar was very very expensive. all in all we had an amazing holiday and i would def recommend for a group of friends who like nightlife and hanging out at the beach in this beautiful new area called olympic port!

Area recommendations
location wise it was just what we were looking for as we wanted to be near the beach so we could hop over quickly at any time, hotel is located on the waterfront road but takes 3-4 min to get there as theres a few big roads and a beautiful promenade running in between. this might not be ideal for ppl who want to be close to the city centre as we had to take a bus or train of about 20 min each time to get to the centre but theres bus stops right outside and train is 5 min walk to the station. we were very pleasantly surprised when we discovered that to get to the good nightlife by the beach we just had to walk down the beach for 15 min to Port olympic which i would def recomend for amazing nightlife, good bars and many clubs.

“loved the quiet location”

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the beach. I wanted to be able to go swimming and leave everything in the hotel room, and for this the hotel was perfect. I also liked the quiet of the location after a day sightseeing in Barcelona. There is a bus that is very close to the hotel and the metro is a little farther away, but not bad. The desk people were very nice and helpful. There is also a great area of "pools" in the ocean that is a 20 minute walk away, although there are several nice beaches very close to the hotel, basically across the street. Would definitely stay there again.

Area recommendations
I would recommend the Caixa Forum, which is an art museum in an old factory, near Plaza Espanya.

“not impressed”

i stayed at another hotel reding in university area, 3 star but felt like 4 or 5 star, i would rate the rafael as 2 or 3 stars

“Hotel near the beach and public transportation. Great hotel.”

I would recommend this hotel. It is clean the rooms are nice and it is convenient to public transporation and very near the beach - you can walk to the beach.

“Nice small hotel in a good neighborhood”

Although the lobby was not too impressive, we were very pleased with the personnel, room and the food. (Be SURE to order the Iberian Ham - 17 euros seems like a lot, but they give you a dinner plate full!) Friendly little bar with great sangria , wines, etc. Just a block from the beach, too.

“hotel simple et confortable”

nous avons passé un séjour de 5jours dans cet hôtel, il est confortable (grande chambre, grand lit, grande sdb) service bar (un peu cher) la station de métro 'POBLENOU' est à une dizaine de minute à pied. On peut rejoindre le centre ville à pied via une digue très bien aménagée, il faut compter une bonne demi heure de marche.... aux alentours qq restos, dont un très sympa (spécialités de poisson frais), sinon à qq minutes il y a la rambla de Poblenou où l'on trouve qq bistrots à des prix abordables

“Rafaelhoteles Barcelona”

Een prima hotel, het personeel aan de balie spreekt erg goed engels en helpen je graag met al je vragen. De kamers zijn erg netjes en worden elke ochtend schoongemaakt. Het ontbijtbuffet is erg aan te raden, veel verschillende dingen, echt veel verschillende dingen. Echter het hotel dat zo'n goed buffetontbijt serveert, heeft een erg slecht diner. We moesten een uur wachten op ons hoofdgerecht, terwijl we de enige waren op dat moment en de gastheer kon slecht engels. Daarnaast was het vlees te verschroeid en de groenten van het seizoen (de lente) waren aardappels. Een dikke afrader. Het hotel heeft een prima locatie, dictbij het strand en op 5 minuten afstand lopen een metro, waardoor heel barcelona dichtbij is. De metro daar is de beste en goedkoopste manier van vervoer. Het hotel ligt ong. 30 minuten rijden van het vliegveld af, dit zal je ongeveer €42,- kosten (incl. toeslag die ze later pas berekenen)

“Stadt ist mit Barcelona card schnell und preiswert zu erreichen”

Bis auf obige Kleinigkeiten ist das Hotel zu empfehlen, Frühstücken sollte man aus Kostengründen in der City. Umgebung des Hotels sehr ordentlich, man ist schnell am Meer.

Area recommendations
Die Stadt ist samt Umgebung eine Reise wert, 5 Tage sind fast zu wenig um alles wahr zunehmen.

“Diagonal Port”

L'hotel si trova in un quartiere nuovo di Barcellona, è un po' lontano dalla Rambla ma a due passi dalla spiaggia. La metro è comoda, quindi gli spostamenti sono agevolati per andare in centro oppure al porto olimpico alla sera dove si anima la vita notturna. Se poi la metropoltana è chiusa dal porto olimpico si torna tranquillamente in hotel in circa 10 minuti a piedi. L'hotel è nuovo, ben curato e accogliente, il personale è gentile e cerca di venire incontro a tutte le esigenze. Raccomando l'hotel per chi cerca la vacanza in spiaggia e per la vita notturna. Chi vuole visitare la città avrà solo come inconveniente qualche fermata di metro in più rispetto ad un hotel in posizione più centrale.

Dining
Per chi alloggia o comunque si trova nelle zone di Diagonal port consiglio di andare a mangiare al bar ristorante Cap i Cua che si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione metro Poblenou. Il ristorante è piccolino ma si mangia veramente bene e si spende poco. Per arrivarci dall'uscita della metro proseguite verso il mare, al primo incrocio girate a sinistra e lo trovate sulla sinistra dopo pochi passi.
