“Barcelona is a Must! I can't wait to return..”

The hotel was very pleasant with very friendly staff who were very welcoming at even 3.00am in the morning. Very happy with the quality of the hotel in general and location. It served our purpose well.

Area recommendations
The Marina Area and the Olympic Village as there are lots of nice leisure areas to allow walking, cycling and general access via the underground to other areas.
Getting around
Excellent metro system. Very clean and easy to use. Lovely open walkways along the beachfront and a lovely city to visit with lots to see and do.
Must see
Sagrada Famillia - it is absolutely fantastic. Everyone in our party were enthralled by its splendour. The restaurants were superb and excellent value contrary to what I had expected.
Dining
Great, reasonably priced dining in Barcelona. We were never disappointed with our meals and even coffee breaks were an enjoyable experience. Something available for most palates.

“Excellent value & convenient location”

Clean and comfortable hotel. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the Ramblas, but why pay over the odds there when there is a good choice of local bars and restaurants nearby offering much better value.

“Great stay!”

The hotel is great if you want a clean, quiet and safe area. It is very easy to get to the hotel using the Aerobus from the airport. The rooms are reasonable size for European standards. You can get internet in the room using a cable they give you. There is safe in the room which you have to pay a fee ( very reasonable fee).The rooms have mini fridges which we used for cooling our water and yogurt. The staff are very nice and helpful. There are some cafes and variety stores so you can buy snacks. The metro is not far. You can easily walk to the main squares and tourist areas. I would definitely go back.

Area recommendations
The Example area where the hotel is located is quiet and pretty safe. It is located between the 2 main squares.
Getting there
Use the Areobus and if you are staying less then 9 days buy round trip9.5 euro. The bus is very easy to use and run on time. Terminal one use A1.

“Good value for money”

Hotel is in a good location. Easy walking distance to La Rambla, Placa Catalunya and Placa Espanyol. Local shops and cafes nearby. Hotel staff are friendly and provide a good service.

Area recommendations
Eixample is a good area to stay in. Its close to the tourist sites, but with enough local character you don't feel like you're in an artificial resort area.

“We shall definetly return to this hotel.”

HCC Open is a small hotel located in a very convenient area of Barcelona. The Metro is one block away, numerous restaurants and cafes are in very close proximity, even a Tabac shop where one would buy stamps is across the street. We did not use the restaurant for breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and the staff is polite, curteous and very helpful.

Traveller's tip
Since the hotel is close to a Metro, one can use the Metro to get to the airport shuttle and not use a taxi. Also, there are so many cafes around the hotel that one can have breakfast at a cafe and not in the hotel's restaurant.

“Excellent hotel”

This hotel has great value. The rooms were super clean and spacious due to Europe's standards. It's location was close too many atttactions in Barcelona.

“Good place to stay if you do not want to spend a lot of money”

If you just need a room where to sleep, take a shower and where to leave your things this is the perfect hotel. Do not stay in this hotel if you expect a fancy hotel close to the beach. The beach is a 40 minute walk and the main attractions are around 25-35 minutes away walking distance.

“Der vil jeg gerne bo igen.”

God værdi for pengene. Kort afstand til metro. God lydisolering mod gadestøj. Hvis man kun har brug for en kop kaffe og et rundstykke om morgenen, er morgenmaden dyr på hotellet.
