Very centrally located to tourist happenings. Safe building with lots of food and shopping options. La Rambla is in walking distance. We had a hiccup getting into the apartment but staff was readily available to help. It had a lot of potential and could have been so much nicer decor wise. Staples in the kitchen are also suggested (cooking oil, salt and pepper, oven mitts, a pancake/egg flipper, dish and dishwasher detergent) Be aware you take out your own garbage and recycling to the street bins and pay extra for any housekeeping services, change of towels etc. The front desk staff and manager were very nice, friendly and helpful. Close to everything you want to do, including metro the hop on hop off bus, ample dining and shopping. Apartment was comfortable and everything worked well. Be aware you will not receive an email until the day you arrive that has the codes to get into the building and into your unit. Be sure to check that as soon as you’re ready to go to the apartment because it’s very difficult especially if you’re traveling from the US and can’t make calls on your phone, ie you won’t get into the building without these codes. You will not be able to reach anyone while outside of the building. You need to have the door code to get into the building and then you need to go to the second floor during their open hours (they are closed for a couple of hours in the afternoon) or you need the code to get into their office and if not, if you are arrived after check in time, the code to your room that was included in the email will get you into the room. The staff that I interacted with was very nice and very accommodating. If you are from the US, you will need one of the converter plugs so that you can plug your US appliances into their sockets. It was a great place to stay. They are the easiest to communicate with, very responsive and very nice and helpful. The room is very clean, spacious and in a really good location. Walking distance to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya.
