“2 nights in BCN for Semana Santa”
We stayed here for 2 nights during Good Friday of Semana Santa. The hotel was perfect...modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was amazing and helpful...not sure if they spoke another language or just Spanish. Our room had a huge balcony, which was nice as we are smokers. The hotel has a restaurant. The rooms dont have wifi, but do have the cable internet wire you hook up to the laptop. Not sure if the hotel common areas have wifi, but I did see two computer stations with internet in the lobby. Hotel has elevator and free water bottles at each minibar station on each floor.
“Comfortable stay”
We had an excellent stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable rooms and a great lounge area downstairs with computer access.
“I like this hotel”
the location of the hotel is about 10 mins walking from the Diagonal Metro station, the walk is safe and comfort and if you like it to be a bit quite than the main tourist area then this is not a bad choice. I would suggest to take the taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost around Euro $25-30 depends on how many pieces of luggages you have but it is a lot easlier than taking the Metro plus the 10 mins walk, it worths the money. The staffs are friendly and all speak English, there are lots of places to eat your breakfast around the area and if you would like to be quite then ask for a room for the inside otherwise the people from the dance club acorss the street will wake you up at 4 am in the morning on Sat.....
“Very comfortable hotel”
The Condado makes a great base for exploring Barcelona. It's quiet and away from the chaos of the Gothic Quarter, but still within 30 minutes walking distance; also within 30 min. walking distance to two train stations. Only a couple of blocks off the Diagonal and lots of good restaurants in the area. The front desk staff were always very professional and extremely helpful answering all our questions. Having free bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages in the small fridges on each floor was a bonus as well. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms a decent size. Only complaint was the room was a bit on the small side compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was a bit on the pricey side so passed on that and just hit the bakeries and grocery store a couple of blocks away.
“Viva Condado”
Apart from the overpriced breakfast-a 12 euro price for an 8 euro meal-the hotel was excellent. The shower cabinet was the most spacious I've ever been in, and the whole bathroom area was well designed and uncluttered. A generous double bed in a single room added to the good impression. The dining room was large, with prompt service, but was pretty empty most of the time-see above. Unless you're a burglar, prepare to spend some time trying to unlock the door to your room, and to hear other people doing the same. The hotel looked immaculate.
“Just a few blocks from the Paseo de Gracia -La pedrera, Casa Batlló”
This hotel is very nice, clean room with a balcony, free water and soft drinks in refrigerators next to the elevator. The breakfast was not included in the price of the room and costs 12 euros, which I found expensive. Down the same street (Aribau) there is an inexpensive but really nice bakery where you can purchase breakfast sandwiches or delicious pastries (my favorite was the ensaimada, which we call pan de Mayorca here in Puerto Rico) and expresso coffee. This bakery closes on Sundays but there is another one on the street right on the corner of the hotel that does open on Sundays. There is a nice supermarket across the street.
“Very good value, same as described on website!”
The hotel is so modern, nice and clean. Look axactly like the photos show on expedia. To me it's like 4star in USA except maybe with less rooms. Staff were very helpful in helping bookink taxi, give touristic info. In lobby they have 2 computers with fast Internet and vending machine. All windows are doubled so feel very quiet inside. We got room on 7th floor(top floor), it has a big terrace with table and chairs and umbrella.
“Excellent deal”
My husband and I went with our 2 kids and we stayed in a quad which turned out to be 2 separate rooms and bathrooms with a shared foyer. The room was very quiet with double windows. Loved the free mini bar out in the hall stocked with water, cokes and beer. The hotel is in very nice residential neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants. We used the subway to get everywhere - closest stop was Diagonal which is about a 10 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again.
“We love this little hotel, just perfect.”
Nice, clean, graet service, in the middle of Barcelona. A step from Diagonal (Main Avenue of the city.)Waking distance from super good restaurants, banks and stores. We planing to go back net year. OHHH yes!!!
