“perfect”

The Alimara seems far...but it works out perfectly. It is a @ minute walk to the closest metro, a main line in the city, Huge supermarket directly across the street, an internet cafe, a coffee/breakfast spot both across the street. The hotel rooms were larger than the one's we stayed at in the city...and it was an unbelievable price. I highly recommend it. We were three girls from the states and didnt know what to expect. :)

Area recommendations
La Rambla was the place to be...also check out a game at FC Barcelona!!! I highly recommend the Gondola ride up to Montserret as well :)

“Great hotel in Barcelona”

The hotel was fantastic. It was a very short walk from the Green Line Mundat station on the Metro. Very comfortable room and great staff that spoke English. They held our bags for free while we went sightseeing before the cruise. Not much to eat around the hotel but just a few stops on the Metro and there were lots of choices.

“Would recommend only to people that need to save on lodging”

The Hotel is situated near the metro (Mundet) and this is a plus, but the condition is not really of a 4 stars Hotel. The room had the shower fitting broken and it took one week (and three times asking to reception) to fix it. The room is medium comfort, not the best for a long stay, but if you need to save on the cost of lodging you can stay here for cheap prices compared to center hotels.

“nice hotel”

The hotel is nice, right at the metro station.but you do need to take a metro to go to the town. We took a taxi after we got off the ship. It was a mistake, took us a long time, due to traffic. The room is bigger than the previous hotels we stayed. The toilet was in a small area like a closet. but maybe, it's just our room. It's a good choice,if you don't mind riding a metro to go places. The area was nice & quiet.

“Nur zu empfehlen ...”

- gerade mal 5 Min. Fußweg bis zur nächsten U-Bahn-Station, dann innerhalb von 15 Min. in der Stadt - Frühstücksbuffet etwas teurer und enthält auch einige regionale Speisen, sollte man aber ruhig ausprobieren (wir fanden es sehr lecker) - Hotelrestaurant für abends gut geeignet, als Menü preiswert (Preisniveau Barcelona!) - Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant kann häufig auch Englisch sprechen (gute Englischkenntnisse sind jedoch zwingend erforderlich) - Supermarkt etwas versteckt in der Nähe

Dining
Biorestaurant "Orgánic" sollte man unbedingt besuchen, Mittagstisch sehr günstig und lecker
