Good Hotel, Excellent staff.

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Pros: Staff. Wouldn't see this hotel as a family destination.
Cons: Not much but mainly a solution for the noise from the road. Wouldn't see this hotel as a family
Location: Oistins fish fry very near and worth visiting other wise a boogie bus or taxi to further afield at The Gap were bars and restaurants.
All was good for us and staff were terrific. Only issue I can possibly think off was that our room and generally the hotel is a little too close to the busy road along the coast leading down to the Gap and Bridgetown, hence traffic could effect your sleep with boogie buses unique sound of horns. Unfortunate to see some of the bars closed on the Gap but those left were very good

Nice hotel for value, not much for children.

Posted 11-Mar-2015
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff. The little kitchenette was nice even though we did not use it, some may find it a benefit.
Cons: This was a first time of anywhere else I have stayed that there was a charge per day for a lock for the safe and per beach towel.
Location: Location was good, we took the white busses everywhere for $1 USD each ride. Oistins Friday nite is a must, Charlies bar & grill delicious.
Beach was very limited & sparse but lounge chairs were provided. Pool was nice & lots of beach chairs in different areas. Not much in amenities in room only 2 bars of soap. Kitchenette was functionable. Although we did not spend much time at hotel, it was comfortable & clean. Restaurant staff accommodating, mainly had bfast & drinks there. Staff were pleasant & very helpful.

On the beach, great balcony view.

Pros: Location, close to Oistens for Friday night fish fest.
Cons: A little sprucing up. Staff training.
Location: Oistens fish market (a must see on Fridays ) convent walk to bus, market and other beaches.
Wonderful location, on the beach, great view. Nice pool and pleasant room. Staff could be more helpful with info. Didn't get much upon checkin. Could use some sprucing up but overall -charming.

Albergo confortevole di fronte al mare

Posted 07-Mar-2015

Expected more for the price

Posted 08-Feb-2015
The positive aspect was that the staff were welcoming and knowledgable! However the accommodations were dated, the bed sagged and the room was not overly clean. I have had the opportunity to travel the world and really did not feel that this particular accommodation accurately reflected the cost associated with it.

Fabulous beach

Posted 25-Jan-2015
Cons: Air conditioner, dripped into my suitcase all night, soaking all my clothes.
Meals right at hotel are great, a bit on the high side of the $. Close to local bus to take into Bridgetown, to see those sights. They have connections for tours of Island as well.

Beach side fun

Nice area. Friendly staff and service. Outside areas well laid out for relaxation. Hotel rooms could use updating. Clean but looking a little tired. Overall still a good experience. Would go back.

Young Retired Couple

Pros: All the employees including the room mates, the reception, the security guard etc... are very friendly and make you feel comfortable.
Cons: The kitchen could have included a coffee maker and scissors. The hotel should provide AC in the main living quarters.
Location: It is close to a food market, a bank, a fish market. The bus can be taken in front of the hotel to go to other beaches and even to Bridgetown.
We enjoyed this hotel as it was close to everything. Walking distance from the fish market, food market, pharmacy, bank (about a 10 to 15 minutes walk). The beach in front of the hotel is very nice and not crowded. The swimming pool and spas are clean. You feel safe while at this hotel. We enjoyed eating at the hotel restaurant called "The Reef". The prices are reasonable and there are a couple of "Happy Hours" during the day when you can have two beers for the price of one. We had the penthouse apartment on the fifth floor with an ocean view. The only thing that we didn't like was the fact there is no air conditioning in the living room (main living quarters). There is a ceiling fan but that is not enough to keep the room comfortable even if you leave the drapes closed during the day and open the doors and windows during the evening. It was so hot at times that we couldn't watch the TV. However there is an AC in the bedroom as well as a ceiling fan.
