“Great location, friendly staff”
Hotel staff was very helpful, however upgrading of the Hotel is needed. Their was also no kid's activities which was advertised on the web site. Location and food was good.
“Good location”
Food just ok Ceiling leaked during heavy rainstorm
“OK for the Price”
After reading other reviews did not have great expectations. This hotel is an older property in need of some repairs and upgrades, however the staff was very helpful. For the price it was OK for 3 nights. The food was basic, but there was always something appealing to eat. The beer was always good. There was music every night until 11:00 PM, which was a little too loud; even with the windows closed and the air conditioner running couldn't hear myself think in my room when the music was playing.
“PARADISE”
The front desk service was excellent. All the questions that we had were answered. The front desk personel bent over backwards to make sure that all our needs were met. The breakfast staff were somewhat unfriendly. The housekeeping service was excellent. The fixtures in the bathroom needed to be updated. Sitting on the toilet one had to sit on an angle. But most of all the view of the ocean was to die for. GREAT BEACH!!!!!!
“not so impressed”
We were so excited when we arrived to the hotel. After a 5 hour flight, we could not wait to drop off our luggage and start our fun filled vacation. However, once we got to the front desk to check in, the hotel receptionist was not so welcoming. We were so friendly but in return, we were greeted with a " i hate my job....why are you making me do work?" expression on her face. Very monotone. Very BLAH. No smile. Totally killed my mood with her nasty attitude and facial expression. I've traveled to many places before and everyone is super friendly...but not this lady and certain other workers at this hotel. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but I encountered her snottiness every time I saw her. After we learned how unfriendly certain people were...we didn't let that get to us. Brushed it off and enjoyed our vacation to the fullest. Don't get me wrong....just a certain few were unfriendly but the majority (bartenders, waitresses) were very delightful people.
“Laid Back Hotel for older people”
Hotel was of average appearance. Cleanliness was a plus. Staff was accommodating but moved to island time- slow. The food was EXCELLENT. A nice variety was available at each meal. The majority of the guests were late sixities to early seventies. The Hotel lacked a fun atmosphere. There wasn't any lively island music out by the pool.Beach area isn't very large, but nice. Evening entertainment had alot to be desired. Bingo just doesn't cut it! Out of a six night stay, there was only ONE night of excellent entertainment. If you're looking for a place to just kick back and relax(do nothing) this would be the place for you.
“nice but not paradise”
This hotel was okay, but the staff and workers were fantastic and did all they could to make you happy....I would just say that if you show up expecting paradise you will be let down...but hey, a hotel is a hotel....
“Good hotel for the price”
I liked the Barbados Beach Club. My only real issue with it was that I had to drive to "The Gap," which is my favorite area to eat. Also, the buffet food at the hotel was pretty terrible.
“Barbados Beach Club”
