"Saraig is a hidden gem, in a lovely quiet part of the Highlands. The loch views are beyond description. Highly recommend a loch swim if you’re feeling brave (and have a wetsuit!). The house itself is full of character and with every possible home comfort. Plenty of places to visit nearby, easy to get to local amenities, restaurants etc. Top tip: if you can afford to buy a trail camera (around £50), you will capture some amazing footage of the pine martens and badgers in the garden at night!...

"We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. "We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...
