“Will go back 100%”
One of the best hotels we ever been.
“Great stay, pity about the happy hour.”
Had a great time at the Laguna. Prices within the hotel were costly (assuming it's the same most places in Nusa Dua though) and we were dissapointed to find that the happy hour in place in the early evenings for drinks and pizzas when friends had stayed recently had ceased. If had been available I'm sure we would have spent more evenings in as would have been easier with small children. Staff very attentive and the grounds beautiful.
“A very beautiful hotel!”
This is a very beautiful garden hotel. I think I will go back next year!
“The best”
Great experience, the facilities are in perfect condition and nicely decorated with Balinese style. The stuff is incredible polite and professional in their jobs, always showing a true smile, speaks perfectly english almost all of them. Great location in Nusa Dua.
“not up to standard of Starwood Hotel Group”
Stayed five night at The Laguna Resort & Spa, arrived in the afternoon and greeted with cold sweet tea / juice? and cold towel, it was nice and cooling, but the towel was yellowish dirty and not white anymore and have black mark on it. That was my fist bad impression. Second: the bath towel and face towel in the bathroom also yellowish and have coffee mark and also black mark. The room was outdated and can't have afternoon sleep because we can hear noises from room next doors or above you eg the noise from the sliding door to the balcony above or next room been opened or chair been moved and banging of the door etc. To get to the shower you have to leap 1/2 meter from above the ground, and the bathroom marble is dark green/grey colour and looks dirty, toilet bowl yellowish not sparkling clean as other 5 star hotel althought the swimming pool/Laguna around the hotel was nice and the swimming pool was great. At breakfast lounge I found they still using bare hand to handle bread and sandwich and without gloves. The food was limited and not much variety. Not impressed at all.
“Laguna, Nusa Dua 2010”
Spent a great week at Laguna, Nusa Dua, Bali in Dec 2010. Great property, ambience in a very good location. Extremely courteous staff, good room service and good food. Really good and pleasing experience. It has walk in access to lagoons from the rooms and the property is rigjt on the beach. Beach front dining is fabulous too. Highly recommend this hotel.
“Just the beach, Ma'am!”
Nusa Dua is intentionally a beach haven isolated from Bali and its culture. The Laguna Resort is a beautiful beach resort, but seeing the beauty of Bali and experiencing the people and culture means travel. If you want to "veg out," this may be the place for you. It has swimming pool space galore, nice beach (but trashy water), fairly good restaurants, and great service.
“Awesome”
The Hotel is in a lovely, quiet area for people that really want a break. The busy shopping and dining areas of Kuta and Seminyak are 15 - 30 minutes away by car, but taxis are inexpensive and not difficult to find. Loved the hotel surroundings, and the food in-hotel and in the neighbourhood, although it is expectedly not very cheap. The walks along the coast are lovely, you cross from one hotel to the next, but all very nice.
“Nothing Special”
We stayed at Ayana for the first half of our trip and Laguna for the second. Wished we would have stayed at Ayana the whole time. This hotel is dirty, damp, small, and the food is bad. With so many nicer hotels nearby, I wouldn't reccommend this to anyone. The Westin next door is great if you must be in Nusu Dua, but the Ayana is so wonderful if I had to do it over again I'd stay there the whole time. The cheapest room at Ayana was much nicer than the Deluxe Lagoon Access Suite (which was nothing special, the lagoon was filthy and the room always damp). So bascially, if you go to Bali, don't stay here.
“LUXURY AT IS VERY BEST IN BALI”
Nusa Dua is away from the hussle and bussle of Kuta but only 15 minutes drive if you want to go there for the shopping. The Laguna offers everything you need. We only left the area once. A truly relaxing and luxurious holiday destination. If you aren't on a honeymoon...this will make you feel like your are! You will feel very safe and secure staying here.
