"Very close to Rutland water. Loads to do at Rutland. Rural location only accessable by car. The owner kindly let us charge the car at the house (we worked out and paid for the electricity used). I was pleased to find there is a freezer in the kitchen. There were lots of kitchen utensils which made cooking easy."

"We were all looking forward to our short Christmas break and we were not disappointed.. The cottage was easy to find and we had early access. The heating was on and everything looked cosy. "Front door is 5 yards from busy A43. Contacted owner for key code Friday am for Friday stay did not reply till 14.21 Sunday. Builders next door Hammering just after 7 Saturday and Monday. Cover on front bed filthy. Toilet seat not attached correctly. No logs provided for log burner or tools. Welcome pack not as advertised no wine no milk no eggs no crisps small loaf. Outside area no parasols cushions left outside dirty and cigarette burn, and a broken chair. Broken glass in cupboard. Very noisy...

"A beautiful, spacious, secluded, property with great country views. Peace and tranquility meant instant relaxation. Just a 2 mile drive to Foxton Locks, and a few miles to Market Harborough. Miles of open countryside which is very rolling, ideal for challenging cycling. My only criticism is that the sound insulation between the two semi detached properties was inadequate. Otherwise marvellous and we will return."

"Lovely and quiet at the end of the village. Real home from home. Will definitely be back to stay again in the future. Went out in Leicester so didnt try the The Stilton Cheese Inn which is only a 10 mins walk away & looks good. "

"Lovely warm welcome when we arrived and a quick tour around the spacious property. Set in a quiet quaint village with a popular pub/restaurant. The property was warm and comfortable with plenty of room. Nice welcome pack thank you.Lots of information leaflets to choose something to do in the area. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. The area and house are stunning. Would definitely recommend"
