Clean Hotel close to lots of activities

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Very cute studio! Great location directly next to the hot tub and pool. The bed was a little firm for my liking. Lots of activities going on the weekend we were there just within walking distance. All in all it was a great experience and would definitely go back

great location, little bitty living space

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: If you like the outdoors, Snowmass is a great place to be. No need for a car, all shuttles up and down the hill and into Aspen are free!
I love the area and late summer and fall are one of the great times to be there. We knew we would not be spending alot of time in our room, so the actual accommodations were not as important to us as the location. The room was dated and seemed like a number of very small rooms stuck together. The room with the bed (I'm not sure I would call it a bedroom though) had no room for our luggage. There was about a 1 foot border between the bed and the walls on 3 sides. There was a dresser but not sure you could pull open the drawers while standing in front of the dresser. The living space was fine. The TV was only located in the living room. On the opposite side of the space (not connected to the bedroom or the living space expect for a hallway) was a very small bathroom. There was a full size kitchen but we didn't need one. Overall the space worked since we weren't there very much. Nice pool (not too hot or too cold) and nice hot tubs (a bit too hot and very rough surface to sit on). Overall a great vacation but I would probably look at another nearby property before returning to these "interesting" little rooms. Not horrible but not my first choice. Location was terrific; only two levels up for the main Snowmass Mall. Not bad value for the money.

Fun stay in Snowmass

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: Clean, fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans, and utensils is a plus. Plenty of room for 2 in the 1 bedroom. Friendly staff
Cons: The bed was quite hard. I could feel each spring and woke up the first 3 nights with a sore back. Spent the last night on the couch
Location: Right on Snowmass mountain. Good shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also close to Aspen and hikes
Spent 4 days in snowmass for vacation. Had a great time.

everything great except the bed

Posted 05-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
I loved this condo, it was just perfect in price and condition except the bed. The bed was so hard we slept on the hide a bed in the couch. My husband called it the concrete bed!! I like hard beds and I couldn't sleep on it. I never would have thought the sofa bed would be my choice but the other was intolerable

Great Space

Our stay was great, the unit we were in was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the ski in/ski out aspect as it was a short walk from the condo, through a walkway of the Westin, to the slopes.

Great location and price is right

We really enjoyed this hotel. We had a studio that was about 650sqft with 1.5baths. The unit we had was recently updated and perfect for a family. Also, the outside heated pool and hittub were attractive and great. However, as these are all owned by individuals, it can apparently be hit or miss in terms of unit quality.

nice place

Posted 08-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed in a very nice studio condo next to the Snowmass mall. Place was clean and well appointed. Not real fancy but great value for the amount paid. Only complaint was that it was difficult to find. The streets are poorly marked and I drove around for an hour looking for the place. Check in was a little awkward as it was located in another complex up the hill.

Newer property, individual units vary

Posted 07-Apr-2014
Stayed here with a groupon deal. Exterior of property is 'newer' pool, hot tubs and grounds are well maintained. Individual units vary! Recently we had a nice large end unit on top floor. Great windows, natural light & view of grounds & mtns. Condo was in dire need of a cosmetic makeover (cactus lamps and old dated bead spread and other furnishing). Carpet appeared to be recently replaced, clean....but if the owner invested in tasteful furnishings this place would shine. Kitchen was tiny, if your looking for better condos in sim. Price range and larger kitchen, better floor plan stay at the Laurelwood.
