"We stayed over for one night only, the lodge is much bigger than the photos show, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We went to raby castle playground and Deer park nearby which was a great hit for our boys age 7&10, then back for a relax."

"Excellent location, set back from any main roads. Extremely peaceful but exactly what you need for a weekend away. Pond outside of the cabin made it gorgeous for a lovely drink in the morning to start the day. Scott was a fantastic host and extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. "

"We booked a 3 day New Year Break and i paid in good faith but when we arrived at the venue it had been cancelled and there was no where for us to stay... no one contacted us to discuss... Ill never book with you again..."

"I cannot recommend this place enough. So convenient, walkable and really in the heart of the best of York. Plenty of kitchen space so you can actually share meals together. If I had to mention any drawback the wifi was not the best. If I am ever back in York, ( which I hope to be the case ♥️) I will definitely book with this property. "
