"Friendly staff, great breakfast. Pleasant and intimate environment."

"Rooms are very small but enough to sleep in. Very easy to hear other guests hence deducting one star for that but otherwise the staff are great. Set across from the beach right on the promenade. Very reasonably priced. Parking is included but can be somewhat challenging if you arrive very late in the evening. All in all a positive experience. "

"Such a beautiful hotel. The restaurant serves the best steak I’ve ever had. All staff are very friendly. Hotel itself is clean and worth its 4*. Would 100% stay again and recommend to everyone. "

"I had a seaview room which was nice but because the old double glazing didn't shut properly, the sea waves breaking on the shore was quite noisy whilst I was trying to sleep."

"I dont stay in hotels often but enjoyed my short stay. Food was excellent. Room was great for 1 person. Everything had been thought of and supplied in the room from drinks, tea, coffee, water etc to all manner of bathroom supplies Very impressed. I never sleep well away from home but rested pretty well. No noise at all from the large pub area below, very peaceful. Would definitely stay again"

"Lovely old building. Lots of different rooms/areas. Good beer. Good food. Our room was a bit tired and could do with a bit of love. New people have just taken over the hotel. Need a bit of time to find their feet. I’m sure they’ll get there."
