They arranged a driver (Cristobal - 5 stars!) to take us to see places outside of the city and made sure we got back from the soccer game safely! "This is a beautiful property just outside of the main town of Mindo on a dirt road. It’s very quiet and you will hear the sound of birds and frogs. We saw quite a few different birds just sitting on the porch outside our unit. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The grounds and dining area are beautiful. The included breakfast is good and it’s nice to have the option to have dinner on property if you don’t feel like going out. Wonderful stay in Mindo. "

"Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

"Incredible. Such a wonderful place to stay in the Mindo area. Really tucked away in the forest but only a 20-25min walk or $3 cab to the town. We stayed in the upper level of the lodge which was wonderfully positioned to watch the birds. Excellent service really recommend. "

"Our entire stay was fabulous. We pre arranged a pick up with the hotel for our arrival after 5 days in the Galapagos Islands. Our driver held a sign with our name on it and safely delivered us from the airport to our hotel. We were greeted by Roger and given a small tour. We enjoyed a later dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. Angel was so attentive and really took our meal to the next level. The room was extremely spacious and had 2 floors. There are also plenty of filtered water...

"Upon check-in, they didn’t have the booking confirmed correctly. Despite making it for 3 adults, they had it listed for just 2. Also I was charged 32.40 more than what was listed as the nightly charge"
