Glamping in Amboseli

"This is a gorgeous place to stay, 5 min outside the park. The tents are lovely, the staff extraordinary, the food excellent. The only complaint is that you have to buy all your drinks including even water. "

Check in could have been smoother there was a little confusion so it took longer which we wanted to start our game drive and had a short delay. It was fixed quickly, they were accommodating, we are grateful they fixed us a quick lunch which was after their normal hours so we could eat before going into Amboseli NP. "Let me start by saying the staff and service was excellent. You could not fault them for trying to please and ensuring that they made you as welcome and comfortable as possible. But the camp itself was very run down and showers and general facilities disappointing. The blame for this has to be with the owners of the camp who have failed to spend money on decent facilities. "Positive overall, would repeat. Quite place, hard to find, but owner offered to send someone to pick us up. Dinner was good (not cheap 1000Ksh pp) and breakfast was good too. Shared bathroom could be better. No wifi."
