Cons: Perhaps a little upgrading would be nice.
Location: Although a little distance from Albufeira, the hotel offered a regular shuttle bus to/from the hotel to Albufeira.
Very pleasant. Lovely weather and lovely surroundings.

Could be 4 star.

Posted 14-Jul-2015
Pros: Great accommodation and clean.
Cons: Replace all management.
Location: Great location with good restaurants nearby.
The accommodation and amenities could be 4 star, but the hotel management philosophy is like a 2 star back packers. Deposit for this and that, controls on everything. Very disappointing as a great facility. The breakfast however is disgusting.

Pros: The hotel itself was quite central in location and provided easy commuting to and from. Varied entertainment every night. Very clean
Cons: Air conditioning (better ventilation) in all areas. Perhaps invest in refreshing the decor and furnishings.
Location: Excellent location and plenty close by, particularly within walking distance i.e beaches, restaurants
Hotel reception, bar and other areas of the hotel had no air conditioning, therefore in extreme heat and humidity proved difficult and uncomfortable to relax and enjoy the facilities in those areas. Rooms could do with a little modernising and updating in decor, particularly if they claim to be a 4 star. The only area you could get free internet was the stifling reception area; Internet else where had to be paid for. Other chargeable items were the room safe, pool table and 1€ for each sheet of paper that required printing. Lack of customer care, particularly when ordering a taxi. One example was 90 min from placing the order. Some areas of the hotel had just been touched up on walls and ceilings.

Lovely place for a relaxed holiday! You will need a car as it is located outside the city centre but the rooms are spacious and clean and the staff lovely! The only thing that we thought could be updated is the buffet (we had a half board). Not bad but not as much choice as we thought. We loved the Thursday barbecue and would definitely go back there!

Out of date and not a four star hotel

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Not a 4 star hotel. Very old and looks very 80's and out of date. Breakfast is average. Lipton tea and basic coffee machines. Even the hot water for the tea comes out of a machine and taste like antiseptic. Wifi is not free and costs 10 euros. Beach or pool towels - you have to give a 10 euro deposit for each towel. They are really and old worn beach towels so your better off bringing your own. Rooms are very basic. You have to pay to use the safe! There is no kettle or ironing board. These things should be provided for in a four star hotel. There's not much to do in the area. The local beach is nice but that's about it. No supermarkets and cash points nearby. The hotel also charges 0.50 euros to call a taxi for you. Also if you take food from the free breakfast ie. An apple to have later... They will charge you 8 euros per person for taking it. Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in.

Out of The Way Location

Posted 17-Jun-2015
Pros: Good room and pool.
Cons: Internet, Internet, Internet.
Location: Not alot
Been here twice. standard of Breakfast down on a couple of years ago. Standard of Entertainment is lamentable. The Bar was more full on the night it wasn't on!! Out of the centre although agree bus into town about 8 euros in taxi to come back. If you like a good pool and have good books then this may suit. If the sun is not out there is not much else to do. Internet is totally unreliable due to the remote location. The Hotel is clean with friendly staff and has good size rooms.

Comfortable and relaxing

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: The setting and facilities, very well run.
Location: For people who love beaches a lot of different ones to visit within easy reach. Albufeira town has good shops and music and entertainment for all ages
Really enjoyed this 2 week holiday at this hotel, service good with great choice of beaches very nearby all having the necessary facilities and a good restaurant at each one! Hotel good, food excellent and pool area set within a garden area very well kept. Clean and comfortable rooms, entertainment on most nights also a couple of excellent restaurants close by. Shuttle service into Albufeira that run quite regular and shuttle to Ville Gale beach an absolute must to visit. Could have stayed longer will return here again for a relaxing holiday.

Good hotel convenient to beach etc

Posted 11-Jun-2015
Pros: See above
Cons: A few more parasols to be located around the pool's perimeter to provide more shade, as required.
Location: See above
This hotel is in a small village but the free shuttle service to local amenities was very welcome. The breakfasts should suit all tastes and appetites, with a great variety of really good food. The facilities in the hotel are very good, with an excellent indoor swimming pool, as well as the usual outdoor one, which has a pool bar, with helpful and friendly staff. For those guests choosing bed and breakfast accommodation, the local restaurants, most of which are within easy walking distance, should prove to be the ideal combination. In all, a hotel that I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Hard working and friendly waiters.

Posted 10-Jun-2015
Pros: Friendly waiters and make reception team. 1) better guidance from the hotel staff about outside activities 2) hotel needs to purchase new baby cots
Cons: 3) fridge needs to work as a fridge- not as a cool cupboard 4) provide iron 5) room service
Location: Far from city centre Nothing to do around the hotel area
Our 1 year child was given an old, broken down cot. The bed sheet was not changed. Due to the condition of the cot we had sleep our child in between us on the bed. Sadly our bed sheets were not changed on daily basis as was meant too. There was no room service either. The waiters and male reception team were very friendly, helpful and always approachable. The hotel was rated as a 4 star- sadly it did not feel that way. The pool area was good but the hotel did not show any guidance on any outside activities. The hotel was based far from the City centre and although there was a free shuttle bus however the latest shuttle time was just before 7pm- this does not help any tourist if they want spend some time in town in the evening as this was the best time to be there. This meant spending a lot of money on taxi on daily basis.
