I ended up staying 3 nights at the Movenpick and was delighted with the service and facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was cozy and the bed comfortable. I enjoyed the beach and hot tub two mornings and found the breakfast buffet good. I would stay again.

The concierge helped us arranged for a private car to drive us north from Aqaba to Petra (with an overnight in Petra), and then via Wadi Rum (they arranged for a 3-hour jeep tour of the desert /mountains/dunes and rested a short while at a Bedouin base where they offered us a most fragrant tea) and to our final destination in Amman...a most adventurous trip at a very reasonable price for the four of us.
Love their fresh flower arrangements everywhere.

My Hotel is located in the city center. Walking distance to Marina bay, shops, restaurants and groceries.
Our room is huge, separate receiving room w/ beautiful 3 couch and led tv. It has everything that we traveller needed. Very modern and clean. We had a very relaxing night. For the price we paid, our room is way too cheap.
The Hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful. We did not even know that he upgraded us on Suite without me asking and no extra cost. Thank you so much for taking care of us. We will definitely stay in your hotel again next time we are in Aqaba.

The hotel was located close to restaurants, shopping, and main streets... You can take a taxi and go to the beach or any other attractions in the area within few minutes... The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing we did not like about the hotel is the air conditioning not running while we were out, which left the room pretty hot when we got back and had to wait for it to cool down.
WOW first mention goes to the staff of this hotel. They were all so friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English...it just doesn't get any better for a traveller staying here. The location was excellent for the restaurants and beaches just a pleasant walk. Great shopping too! We hired a cab to Petra and that was the most amazing to visit.
I got a room for 3 and the room was nice booked through expedia. The area surrounding the hotel is a little shabby but the staff does their best to be hospitable and welcoming. They let me bring food in so that was a big plus and if you know Jordan... Liquor is crazy expensive but the bar at the golden tulip has some pretty good deals comparatively. It's also 2 minutes walking distance from double tree hotel and 5 minutes from the public beach. They have beach trip deals that include boat riding and scuba diving that are pretty good prices. A trip out on the boat with diving and a meal included, also if you JUST want to go to the private beach they'll take you for a small fee that including the entrance fee. Which is good considering its a 15 minute taxi ride and the entrance fee is kind of expensive. Again, the staff was pretty cool... they put on karaoke for me and my friends and tried to teach us Dubka dancing!
