This is a lovely hotel but it is too expensive. The rooms were nearly $400 and that didn't include breakfast. Continental breakfast was about $30 and looked average. So when I asked for a flat white and was told that was "extra" I was unimpressed. When I discovered the "extra" was $4.50 I left the breakfast room. Surely for $430 a night I could get a coffee of my choice. It is the small things.
Owners own the Clocks and Collectibles shop, centrally situated on the Main Street. You check in at the shop which usually closes around 5pm. Access to the cottages is through a coded security gate at the side of the shop. it is important that you speak to the owners if you are arriving late so they can give you security codes etc. to get access. Their home is in a compound behind the shop so they are only a phone call away and on the premises. We had no problems and they were very helpful.
