We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is only open 5 nights a week and so unfortunately we were only able to eat there for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there. The restaurant is excellent. Friday night is steak night. An excellent deal and a delicious steak. Wine prices were very good. We also enjoyed the crepes for dessert. The breakfast has an adequate cold buffet. Hard boiled eggs, cold meats, cereal, fruit and yogurt. There is also toast and the chef came out and offered us warmed croissant which were quite delicious.
Our room was comfortable, lots of counter space, 2 comfortable leather armchairs and fridge. We had a ground floor room and were able to sit outside on 2 evenings for a glass of wine on our patio. I think every room must overlook the bay and we were very happy with our view. We had some cool nights but the a/c / heater worked well and we were never cold. My only complaint was in regard to the closet space. I have a personal dislike for the kind of hangers that need to be hooked into the permanent hook and to make matters worse in order to allow a narrower closet the hangers were turned so that they went from front to rear making re-hanging items in the rear of the closet challenging!
I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. It is in a quiet part of the town and has excellent and easy parking. It is only a short distance to walk into the town and visit the stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

We stayed here for one night and found the experience worthwhile. It is quite expensive but it is really a small boutique style hotel - converted old stately home really. It is off the Krondorf Road so make sure you take directions (or have a smart phone) as if you arrive late it may be difficult to find along a few dirt roads.
The staff we met were very friendly, approachable and efficient. The included buffet breakfast was of high quality and as there are few guests the personal touch was still there.
The only thing to be careful of is the shower is over the sunken spa bath and getting in and out may be difficult for the mobility challenged (though there is a handrail to help)
