"Patio door in the room could mot close due to broken handle. Patio was dirty, ready for the guest ( no cushions on the chairs and sun beds). Buffet breakfasts was excellent as well as dinner. Friendly stuff. "

"A beautiful hotel, we had a junior suite and it had lots of space and was very stylish. The pool area was idyllic, and the spa was wonderfuI. It was the staff who made it really great for us though. We came with our 9month old baby and the staff were SO accommodating and made us feel really welcome and at home. They are really great with children here, especially in the restaurant. "Unknown to us we had chosen a particularly busy weekend to stay so the hotel was noisier than usual and we couldn't get on the golf course even though we'd tried to pre-book several weeks before. However the breakfast was excellent, the Sushi restaurant didn't disappoint and the spa was still one of the best I've visited in Spain! "

We paid extra for the “red level” which entitled us to a private lounge that had food and drink out available for a good part of the day, nice quality! The room we had was a little dated, unexpected for that level but over all very comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing! We enjoyed our stay here. "

"The rooms are lovely & the setting is ideal, but that’s about it. The 1 restaurant (not 3) serves the same thing all day (same as a the room service menu) & is horrendously slow & over priced. The breakfast is slow & a very poor choice of options. The spa is fine if you like sauna/steam room but the pool/jacuzzi area is currently closed (they tried to deny it existed until I showed them the brochure from the room). For a mostly empty hotel the staff aren’t exactly jumping to help. Don’t bother...

"Los Monteros is an older style 5 star Hotel, it originally dates from 1963. There are parts which could do with a refresh, but it has a certain mid century charm that I like and the staff and service are excellent. The breakfast is good too. Our room dated from about 2002, but was still very clean and spacious. The beach club which is separate from the Hotel was a bit of a dissapointment, and all at extra cost, pretentious, but without the service to match and all seems a bit of a rip off when...
