"We have visited The Swan at Streatley 5+ times in total over the past few years. For us, as we live relatively locally, it's a nice place to get away and enjoy a night away from home. Cleanliness is superb, as you should expect, as is comfort. All rooms, whichever size, are brilliant. However, the ones near the stairs, such as 21 I believe, have some noise if people are heavy on the stairs. However not a reason not to say and I believe they're one of the cheapest rooms. "This was a one night stay we had the deluxe room this was on the second floor with two flights of stairs the second set being quite steep which my wife found a bit difficult to climb room was clean but could do with a freshen up and the window cleaned "

"We stayed over following a wedding in Basingstoke. The Hotel was cheaper than a Travel lodge and certainly better than the aforementioned. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you for a great stay. "

"This is somewhat like other Holiday Inns. The menu is also the same. Bed was comfortable, room was relaxing, wifi okay. This car park was free to residents. Some of the staff here were more interested in chatting up some of the guests, than other Holiday Inns I have stayed in this year (2024)."

"We had a lovely stay. Beautiful walled garden for relaxing having a drink/meal. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Some of the hotel is a little tired, but they appear to be working on it. The bar was redecorated during our stay, with minimal disruption. Breakfast was adequate. We didn’t eat any other meals in the hotel, but the meals and afternoon teas being served to guests in the garden looked delicious."
