"Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable, with pretty views. The restaurant was amazing (vegan and gluten free options too), and the grocery store/gift shop on site was a great feature (vegan, gluten free options at the store as well). We will definitely be back and would highly recommend! The golf course was excellent as well. We stayed in 12B Maxwells."

"Beautifully renovated main dining area and bar. Lovely food and drink. Unfortunately seemed a bit short-staffed the evening we dined and service was quite slow. Ran out of orange juice both mornings for breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious-quirks included non-functional telephone and safe. Would return and recommend to others. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail (dead plants in hanging basket outside lodge rooms) for a 5-star rating."

"When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. "We went on a holiday weekend with family visiting from Philippines. The location was beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The hotel was clean. Staff was attentive. We did not had hot water on our 2nd night, but the staff were quick enough to have it checked first thing in the morning. Hotel has its own charm, which is unique in its own way. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, great to have basic amenities plus having the steam/sauna room was a bonus. Carpets needs changing and the plumbing needs checking, you can hear the glug sounds after turning off the faucet. But all in all we had a lovely stay, home away from home. We will definitely book again 😃❤️"
