The area we booked to enjoy the amazing view was obstructed by the messy service area which was a bit disappointing"

"This was my first visit to Chiseldon House having to find another place to regularly stay after the closure of a different hotel & I have already booked again. That in itself says it all. The staff were friendly, cheerful & helpful. My room was spacious & overlooked the gardens with a delightful balcony, would be lovely in the warmer months. "

"Hotel is very tidy and the service good. The food in the restaurant is top notch so we can highly recommend it. The breakfast is a well stocked self service and held in the restaurant area which is pleasant although lacks a bit of character. We would suggest that the staff should ask whether this is your first day when going into breakfast otherwise you sit at the table you’re shown to and wonder whether you should wait to be served or help yourself. "Lovely hotel. We opted for the Sutton Suite which was large and well laid out. Service is super friendly, but not always as helpful as it could be. Both 1772 and Yû are reasonably good and sensibly priced. Don’t bother to get breakfast included. It’s good but buy it when there. Included options are limited. Spa is great."

"It’s a lovely place just set off a B road. A little tired in areas and the rooms are not very sound proof you can hear everyone else in your area. However the staff were really good and the breakfast was brilliant as was the price"

"Booked the hotel purely for the swimming pool for the grandchildren. Pool was great. Room was ok. Beds very comfortable. Had to have the pillows and duvets changed as my husband is allergic to feathers but that was no problem and done very quickly. Not much choice of food in the bar for the grandchildren so we ate elsewhere. "
