"Fantastic staff elevate the stay at this hotel to great heights"

"The Wi-Fi was great and the bed was too soft. It’s an oddly lonely property amidst the places you want to be with a minimal staff (the receptionist does check-in, check-out, manages your left luggage AND preps the breakfast buffet!). The room was longer than it was wide (be careful not to bump your head on the walls) and an itty bitty pool suitable as a birdbath. All this said, it had an ample bathroom with a walking shower and plenty of towels (that disappeared the second night)."

"My wife and I recently completed a 9-day trip around the Andalucia region of Spain. I had seen the Parque Natural Cazorla on a travel site itinerary and decided to make the drive up to the park with a one-night stay in Hotel El Curro in the nearby town of Burunchel. We had a lovely experience in the hotel and the staff were very helpful in providing a map of the park, recommendations on which trail to visit, and suggesting dinner items. "First, the view from our room was worth the stay—gorgeous! The hotel was good. Staff had limited English but that’s to be expected off the beaten track. The meals that came with “full board” were quite limited, and we would go a la Carter next time. Room was a little stuffy, and it was a little noisy in the evening with the window open. The thermostat didn’t do anything, so a bit of air conditioning was not an optio. "
