"The hotel has a lovely location and polite staff and we loved the reception and room decors. And the swimming facility was lovely. However the room was not cleaned properly for a very long time. There was dust and fluff all around the bedroom floor. And on the third day, they change our bed cover with one that was clean but was ripped in the middle. Also, at breakfast apart from vegetarian sausages, all the meat options were pork products, with no chicken or turkey important if one doesn’t eat...

"Very easy, but on the slightly more basic side. Room and breakfast were everything that was needed, but also very perfunctory. The grounds were excellent, I just wish the weather had been nicer to spend time outside in it."

"Seven of us - two married couples and three solo individuals - stayed here while attending a function at Felsted School. We met at the hotel in the afternoon, some of us strangers to one another but others old friends; we met again at the hotel around 9pm for drinks, staying up till 1230am. In the morning, we all met again for an 0815 breakfast. The hotel helped the happy mood to keep becoming happier."

"The hotel is nice. Stay was was okay, layout is horrible, very long walk from car park with bags to some of the rooms like mine. Got lost many times, signs aren’t clear. Lack of information about hotel in the room. Restaurant shut when I arrived could only have watermelon or cake from a coffee bar. "
