"My friend and I had a lovely stay here last night. We arrived in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Karen. We were really well looked after by Karen and her team and nothing was too much trouble. Our twin room was lovely and the beds really comfortable with lovely touches in the bathroom in case we had forgotten anything. "Stayed for three nights over a recent weekend to provide a base for gigs in three separate places (Bedford, London, Cambridge)...was decently priced (especially when I used one of my Hotel.com reward nights BUT I could have done better booking direct as they offered a three for the price of two deal including breakfast... I did buy breakfast on the Sunday morning BUT that was a mistake as the kitchen closed at ten (not eleven as per the website) and arriving at nine forty five I had little choice or selection - no sausages, a couple of bits of bacon and just a single scoop of beans...my bad!"
