"lovely place ,car parking very limited outside main car park close but shared , rooms airy and well equipped ,old sash windows one rattled in wind other sash broken could not open , bathroom very clean and tidy ,. glass bottles crashing into waste bin outside window at 8.15 room 10 apart from that would recommend ."

"Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. Exceptional value for money with a good breakfast included. Only slight niggle is that the pillows were thin and not supportive. One is not enough and two is too much. Perhaps they could invest in firmer support pillows and the score for this hidden gem would be 10/10."

"Pleasant little room,we did ask for a quiet room but that never happened,the window couldn't close and the dray in the morning woke us up,as we have our own pub we were trying to get a bit of rest but unfortunately not .food was ok,staff could have been more friendly to looking after the diners.overall not too bad apart from getting woken up early in the morning."

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

"Lovely peaceful place. In beautiful surroundings. Very attentive helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Modern shower-room. Good wifi. Views of sheep and hills. Very close to Buckfast Abbey conference centre. They also have a courtesy minivan to collect from stations or give lifts if anyone wants a trip away without a car (but I didn't use that as I had my bike - which was accomodated nicely). Faultless. "Driven past this hotel countless times & always thought that it looked like a lovely, well presented building. Thankfully thanks to Hotels.com I eventually stayed there last night & it didn’t disappoint. Everything was pretty much what I expected , couldn’t really fault it, except maybe for the £8.00 daily parking charge, I personally don’t think that residents should be charged this."

"The staff were absolutely wonderful, they were so friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast and lunch in the white hart were really helpful when I accidentally knocked a drink over. Also they were cooking more sausages at breakfast and the lady brought them to the table for us, which was really helpful meaning we didn’t have our food cold. "
