I stayed in Fave two plus years ago and returned last month October 2014 and enjoyed my 3 nights stay again. I am returning for the 3rd time later this month November 2014. To all staff of Fave hotel Langkawi keep up the great work and smiles. Well done.
We were upgraded to the Umbak Villas which were completed only six months ago. The room was spacious and had everything you could ask for. Staff were excellent in every facet of the hotel. They were always friendly and courteous and couldn't do enough for you. My friend and I spent 10 days here and would be pleased to come back again with our husbands!
As soon as we walked into the lobby we had a good 'feeling' about the hotel, it was very comfortable to get to everywhere and the ,staff where amazing, helped everyway possible, took our luggage for us, and made us settle in to our room.
The room was nice and clean and had seperate dining room and sitting balcony.
overall even though this hotel is only 3 star rated, in our eyes, this hotel should at least be 4 to 4.5 star rated.
We were on our honeymoon.. Everyhing was alright.. We had 2 twin bed..just that 1 of the mattress need a replacement.. And also, as a suggestion..i think elevator is needed. Fortunately we dont hv many luggage n we had top flr. Cant imagine family with huge n heavy bags..Overall, we had a gr8 4d 3n stay.
The rooms are quite big and clean. Bathrooms are in good shape. Unfortunately the staff doesn't really speak and understand english. We wanted a wakeup call and a booked taxi to the aiprt and asked several times for this. But we didn't get any wakeup call and the taxi was booked 5 min before we needed to leave for the airport. The breakfast was ok but not served on time.
