"This home had everything you need for a family vacation. They thought about everything, from plenty of towels including rags for makeup removal. They had enough linens to keep you comfortable for hot or cold. Easy to get to location, easy instructions. Loved they had a poster (cool) wirh the attraction and Resturants. Had games to play, great internet. Had every room set up to be usedfor guest. Just a fabolous time, Final, gorgeous views, well worth alot more money from what we paid. I...

Note that cell service at the house and in the Lake Lure area is really spotty- however the house had very reliable Wi-Fi. "Sofa looked old, so unsure about how clean it actually was. Same concern about the rugs. The bathroom vanity is small. Very little room to place toothbrush and toothpaste, let alone makeup and hair accessories. Appeared to be black mold on bathroom wall, so no place to hang shower towels. Two lightbulbs out in the bedroom ceiling fan. Kitchen cabinetry was in disarray. TV way to small. Wall air conditioner does not cool into the bedroom. It only cools the open living/kitchen area. "Quaint lodge on the Broad River, just below Chimney Mountain. Open the windows and let the sounds of the Broad River lull you to sleep. Wake up with coffee and enjoy the view and sounds. We will definitely stay there again if in the area."

"Okay for a one night stay. Facility needs a little updating. Beautiful location on the Rocky Broad River. We saw a huge black bear across the river from our balcony. Overall good experience here. "
