"Staying at Stefanos's apartment was great. The price/performance ratio is amazing, overall our whole family spent a week here. A beautiful beach with sunbeds and showers is about 10 minutes away, there is a well-stocked shop on the way. We had two cars with us and there was no problem to park them both at the villa. If I go to Crete again, I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything"

"Great rooms for families. Bed was a bit hard but plenty of room in apartment. Very friendly staff and helpful reception staff - very pleasant and informative. Suggested several good local restaurants to eat in. Pool great temperature for kids but yikes could do with a bit of a clean (as could the outdoor shower head!)."

"My reserved and confirmed room was not available because another guest did not check out. They made arrangements for me to stay at an apartment/hotel about 1/3 mile away. New room was fine and proprietors there were very nice (Sea View Apartments). But, a hassle since parking is so hard to find and spent lots of time corcling to try to find oarking spot near first place. The lady at the desk was accommodating, the boss who had to take me to second place was i diffetent at best."

"One of the most unusual stays I've had. My check in was May 1st -- "May Day," a holiday in Greece -- and the hotel was closed. Happily, I had my laptop with me so I could look up the phone number to gain some assistance. I finally spoke with ... someone ... who gave me the entrance code to the front door. On the desk was a packet with my name on it and a key to a room... All this notwithstanding, the place is nice, and it's just around the corner from the main street in Old Town Rethimno. It's...

"This is a rather quiet family-style hotel, great to stay with kids or as a couple that is not really into partying. The hotel is a bit shabby but has all the basics needed. The lovely thing is that it has multiple cottages and is on the first line to the seaside. We only had breakfasts and they were very-very basic, to be honest, and very routine. With such a variety of fresh fruit on Crete, it was weird to get only the watermelon, and you had to come on time to get it :). The worst thing...

"Room #3....the crazy staircase room. Okay, but bathroom not fine. As noted by pretty much everyone there is no staff. Pictures of property were shot with insane lighting....it’s basically pretty dark and VERY modest. Location on Apple and Google maps is wrong. There are SO many different names for this place, but none of them are found on my map apps. There is no plaque/name on the front door. Allow an extra hour to communicate and await arrival of distracted and not really welcoming...
