"A cheap,clean,easily accessed & well located hotel"
We were staying in Paris for 3 nights and wanted to see as much of Paris as possible in that time, so therefore we would not be in our hotel room for much other than a quick shower and sleep. This simple hotel suited our needs and was as I stated above a clean, cheap and cheerful hotel. Its like staying in a premier inn in england, no frills just a clean bedroom and ensuite. It was really easy to get to from the Airport (direct RER line from Charles De Guille Airport), 3 minutes walk from the Luxembourg Station. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as it was a 5 minute walk to the lovely area of Saint Michel, which had so many cafes, restaurants, brasseries etc you were spoilt for choice and we like to eat out and watch the world go by. (you could find breakfast for around 8 euros so it was around the same price). There was a metro stop 2 minutes down the road but It was a really central location and you could walk to a number of tourist attractions, including the pantheon, notre dame, saint chapelle, the louvre, musee d'orlay and access to the boat tours of the Seine. In fact we even ended up walking to the eiffel tower all along the river seine. Would reccommend this hotel if your just looking for a place to freshen up and rest your head after a days adventuring.

I enjoyed Hotel de Lille so much last year that I, naturally, chose to stay there again this year. Once again, the staff was friendly & helpful and I again I recommend this 2-star hotel for anyone who wants clean, comfortable surroundings in a safe, quiet, artistic neighborhood near museums and similar tourist attractions.

Good location but too small and cramped. No A/C, so hot and stuffy at night even with window open. Asked the staff to set up a taxi for the next morning and it no showed. Don't know if the taxi company or the hotel dropped the ball. Also, the last night we were there asked the staff to make a airport shuttle reservation for us. Again, the next morning, no shuttle. Had to scramble to get a taxi, which took 45 mins. Almost missed our flight.
The staff were very nice and the hotel is in a good location. Not sure I would book again. Probably try another hotel.
Such a great price, friendly elderly man at reception, fabulous location, very clean room, extra clean bathroom, little fridge, nice small breakfast nook downstairs with a lovely tasty breakfast (not included) which was good value for money & you can even open the window in the room for fresh air!
