I really could not have had a better location. Although very central, there was little noise at night. It was walking distance to most places I wanted to go to and near the RER and metro stations for other trips. I loved going straight out to walk along the banks of the Seine and Notre Dame is just on the other side. The hotel is very old and needs a bit of updating but the important things to me like towels and bed linen were spotless. Diego on reception is so lovely and friendly and was very helpful. Wi-fi is available and the continental breakfast is good. It's not a luxury hotel as shown by the price but it was ideal for me on my own in Paris for the first time.
I so enjoyed hearing the bells of Notre from our room and the Seine river taxi was only steps away which made getting to the Lourve and eifel tow a breeze
I love this little French hotel. Even though my room was very small and very old-fashioned looking, the location, the safety, and the staff made the experience absolutely perfect.
Room was ok, the bath matches the medieval structure. The winding narrow steps were a little nerve-wracking. But staff was ultra. Ice and location excellent
Great location. Comfortable room and bed. Great place to stay on your trip to Paris. Might get hot in the summer time though due to lack of air conditioning.

We stayed here before, so were prepared for nothing fancy... but the bathroom was really moldy, shower doors rickety and glass missing, etc. and cigarette smoke was coming in from somewhere. If we kept the door closed all the time we could minimize the smell in the room, but the whole thing was so small it was difficult. Very dark - I had to use my iphone flashlight to see into the closet. Staff friendly. Rates super low, location great. But that bathroom was bad.

Great, but…
The good: fantastic location, great shower, electric outlets for European, British and US type outlets. The bad: absolutely the smallest hotel room I’ve ever had. Made it hard to keep track of my belongings. Offer a breakfast if you are ready to eat at 8:30 am. And no staff on the property between 7 pm and 7ish in the morning.

An old character hotel, opposite Notre Dame
This small hotel, right opposite Notre Dame, is over 200 years old, still containing the old beamed staircase and ceilings. Getting in and out is fairly cramped, but the rooms are a decent size. The rooms are clean, though not serviced daily (which we actually preferred). The breakfast is big and good value, though only served after 8.30 during the week and after 9 at weekends (which was a bit late for us).
This is a serviceable small hotel in the center of Paris. It is a five-minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. It is a standard small room and full bathroom, which is great for a solo traveler.

So much potential here but so poorly run and managed . The location is fantastic and the rooms had potential. However no air conditioning in a 4 th floor 200 year old timber structure with windows facing the street full of bars and revellers make for loud and hot nights with little sleep. The bed was comfortable with some space . The room had one small closet. Our 4 night stay was without internet and no one really cared. The so called lobby was closed so long people had to drag luggage out down narrow stairs to a hallway to get to the street. The manager was rarely there and often left a young student in charge . They battled each other for lowest level of interest, assistance and customer service. Again so much potential here but no one seemed to care.
We were so amazed at how beautiful our room was!! We were on the 4th floor and then opened the door to a truly beautiful and wonderfully restored historical hotel. The sheets and bedding and bed were luxury! The room was large and elegant - and the bathroom was so beautifully well done with tile and rock accents. And- the location!! Steps from Notre Dame! The reception was so friendly!! Beautiful stay in Paris!
This hotel has a lot of potential, but it needs significantly more attention to detail.
We visited during an extreme heat wave, and our stay was very uncomfortable. We stayed in the Notre Dame room, which has a mini-split air conditioner, but it was not functioning. We noticed that the cables to the outdoor condenser had been cut, so the unit could not operate. The only way we could sleep was by keeping all of the windows open, and one night it became so unbearably hot that we ended up sleeping on the floor.
The bathroom also had black mold in multiple areas. The hair dryer provided in the room did not work, and the electrical outlets were so loose that even our power adapters would not stay plugged in.
The room also lacked some basic amenities, including a mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee or tea kettle.
Be aware that there is no elevator, so you'll need to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. During the heat wave, this was especially challenging, particularly for me as someone with asthma.
The hotel also advertises specific hours when staff are available in the café, but those hours were not followed during our stay. On our first night, we nearly found ourselves locked out because we returned before the posted closing time and the staff had already left. Unfortunately, we had not yet written down the keyless entry code.
Cleanliness could also be improved. On our first night, the white bed sheets had a large yellow stain, and the hotel does not pro
