For a bachelorette party, we wanted a hotel in Center City close to the restaurants and bars/clubs. This hotel had very reasonably priced suites for our group. It was clean and very secure. We had a great time. I would recommend this to others and stay there again in the future.
We had a very pleasant experience with the most convenient location of this hotel. We were within easy walking distance to all the major historical attractions. There are numerous and very diverse restaurants nearby and we always felt safe in this neighborhood. The hotel staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Great time.
I rarely write reviews but I am compelled to tell everyone what a charming and comfortable hotel the Rodeway Inn is. It was close to the convention that I was attending but close to classic Philly sites and restaurants as well
I am a country girl that had been called over 100 miles away for Federal jury duty. Coming to this Hotel was a scary adventure to me~being a women, all alone. I was pleasantly surprised to find that inside was courteous and reassuring staff. The rooms were extremely comfotable and clean with very reasonable rates. If I had to come back...this is where I'd stay.
Location, location, location!!
My 3rd stay at the Conwell. I have seen my share of great hotels and my share of hideous hotels, the Conwell stands out as near perfect. It is very clean, safe and is in the perfect place for parents, educators and potential students to Temple and Tyler School of Art. While very small, I believe it has around 20 rooms, It offers an excellent alternative to chains at a reasonable price. Students work the desk and in the hotel. Rooms are generally average sized, comfortable beds, I've been in 3 rooms, all had 2 beds, (Yes, my daughter crashed in the room for the night for a quiet break from the dorms) and the hotel is at the center of campus activity.

This Victorian inn is situated at the heart of historic Temple University in Philadelphia, just 10 minutes by car, cab, or …More
Air-conditioned big room and public area is provided, which is extremely important in such a cold winter in Philadelphia. Parking area is good. Wifi signal is available in all areas in the hotel. On the whole, good for the price.
Our first night my family and I were placed into a room with a door to the ajoining room. Unfortunatley, boisterous conversation from next door throughout the night constantly interrupted our sleep. The next morning I made the staff aware of this issue and the folks at the front desk promptly changed our room to one without an adjoining door. That night was great!
