Surprise deposit that was never returned. They used a copy machine e to have my card on file which is not ok. I booked online because I trust the Expedia encryption software. Having a surprise deposit hand written note is very shady and unprofessional. Now my card information is on some paper who knows what they can do with it . Also I never received the deposit back which is not surprising. I booked a non smoking room and they put me in a room that reeked of cigarettes. What is the deposit even for ? The place was Barron there were barely any clean towels and it was disgusting. The other guests lingered around outside and made me feel uncomfortable and one of them threatened me . I ended up leaving because it was so dirty and didn’t want to be alone in a place like that overnight . I want my deposit back and I should really be refunded for the entire expense because it was a complete disaster

Went into our room, had no towels. There’s no phone in the room so we had to call the front desk with our personal phone. They would not deliver us towels, we had to go all the way to the front to pick them up. When we asked why wasn’t our room prepared for 3 guests, front desk said “how am I supposed to know that?” As if they don’t work there??? Staff was rude. In our room, the bathroom door had holes in it. The wall had holes in it. There was a dead bug in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken. The rack to hang clothes was broken. No hangers. No soap/toothpaste. I couldn’t even check out of the place because their system was down. Some of the pictures do NOT match (mainly the lobby). “No smoking” but place reeked of weed. The room didn’t even have enough pillows for the 3 of us. No plastic silverware. We have to call the front desk to get the Wi-Fi password, YET THERE IS NO PHONE IN THE ROOM. The fact that this room was $70+ is ridiculous. If I could get my money back, I would

The room looked raggedy, unsafe, dirty, holes in the wall the parking lot wasn’t safe I wouldn’t even leave my bike outside drug infested area poor quality hotel safe is behind bullet proof glass just look run down I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy
